I have about 20 years of experience building software, working with different technologies including .NET: backend services and APIs, Windows services, desktop clients, and the integrations that connect them to third-party systems and hardware.

The work I enjoy most is making a concurrent, time-critical system behave predictably under load — the kind of problem where correctness and performance both matter and neither is optional. Alongside that: SQL and NoSQL databases, a fair amount of frontend when a project needs it, and the build and deployment plumbing that gets it all onto a machine.
