Edgars Eižvertiņš

I am a software engineer with about 20 years of experience, working across the stack — web and desktop front ends included — with the strongest focus on backend systems and the integrations that connect them to the outside world: third-party APIs, existing platforms and physical hardware.

I work across the whole life of a system — designing and building new ones, and taking over established ones that have to keep running. In both cases the standard is the same: correctness, reliability and performance, delivered in steps that can be released safely.

I take work from first requirements through design, implementation, testing and release, and I document it so that someone else can take it over. I lead technically — design, code review and mentoring — and I work directly with the people who use what I build.
